CabBrowser FAQ

01

CabBrowser Dashboard

The CabBrowser dashboard allows for easy management of the CabBrowser app. An admin can manage allowed URLs, review requests for new sites, and update app settings.

Updates to the list of Allowed URLs and Settings will be pushed to the CabBrowser tablet app the next time the app is foregrounded (moved from back ground to foreground, or launched).

For best performance we recommend using the Chrome web browser.

CabBrowser Tablet App

The CabBrowser app is a managed browser that allows drivers to access a curated quick launch list of websites and tablet apps.

Dashboard updates to the list of Allowed URLs and Settings will be pushed to the CabBrowser tablet app the next time the app is foregrounded (moved from back ground to foreground, or launched)

CabBrowser can be configured as the tablet’s default web browser so that all URLs launched on the tablet will navigate to CabBrowser, but this change must be made by Platform Science as it requires access to system settings
